Election Information:

With the June 23, 2020 Dual Primary Election fast approaching, we want to advise you of how things will look in light of our County and State still taking precautions against COVID-19. Please know we have put extensive time and energy into finding a plan that protects you (our voter) and our Election Officials. With the help of our County Administrator, Sheriff’s Office, Fire and Rescue Department, and Emergency Management Team, we have a plan in place to make Election Day run smoothly and safely.

In effort to protect us all, we have decided to do all voting for the Primary curbside in a drive-thru manner. We are combining Courthouse Precinct (King George High), Monroe Precinct (King George Middle), and Shiloh Precinct (King George Elementary) to all vote at King George High School. Passapatanzy Precinct will still vote at Sealston Elementary School and Dahlgren Precinct will still vote at Potomac Elementary School. You will need to show a valid Photo Id at check in. The only persons who should appear are eligible voters who have not yet received a ballot and wish to vote. We are asking the voters that have received a ballot to please vote that ballot and mail it back to us prior to the Election. We also have a drop box that you can put your ballot in at our office. DO NOT TAKE IT TO THE POLLS this will slow the process of voting down.

When you arrive at your precinct, you will notice Election Officials in masks and gloves. We are wearing these to protect you as well as ourselves. We ask that you help us to stay protected by also wearing a mask, if you are able. Please also be prepared to take a little extra time at your precinct while we take the additional steps to keep you safe.

If you are unsure of where you need to go to vote, please click here for an interactive map to help you find your precinct based on your address. (This does not confirm that you are registered to vote. If you need to check your registration, please click here.) There are some streets in our county that are divided. You may view those here.

Thank you for doing your part!
